A unique tour of the church
St. Mary Magdalene
The Sobotecky church is one of the oldest monuments of the city, and history has left its traces in it. You can be recognized during the guided tour. You will notice different building styles, you will see the likeness of the children of the founders of the church, you will learn about the authors of the church decoration.

Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Sobotka
The original wooden parish church stood in Sobotka already in the 14th century. In the years 1590 - 96, a new church in late Gothic style was built in its place. The construction was financed by the owner of the estate, Oldřich Felix from Lobkovice. In the second half of the 19th century, the chapel was demolished and the tower was lowered.
